We started FUDDYTV.com (SIC) as an outlet for the creative juices we had flowing non-stop through our veins. Acclaimed actors Ryan Northcott and David Haysom teamed up with award winning director Erik Eldman to fulfill that creative desire. The goal was first and foremost to have fun, but quickly we realized that we may just be onto something great. The idea was simply make funny videos where everyone could get a laugh, perhaps a tear, but just be wildly entertained.

The realization came just a couple months after our start when our fictional reporter "Chuck Storm" became a web hit. No pun intended, of course. Just under a year later our characters "Boris and Juri" were beckoned to Belgium to create "Car Dance Party Belgium" for Toyota. The campaign was such an incredible success it garnered a Golden Lion Award at Cannes. Pretty awesome. Shortly after we got back from the beautiful country of Belgium we got a ring from the fine folks at Cramer-Krasselt, one of the premier ad agencies in the world. On behalf of their client TrueCredit we created 10 original ads which you've probably seen on TV or the web. Along the way, we've been on the Ellen Show, Maury, The Daily Show, CNN, NBC...the list goes on.

In 2009 one of the three founders of FUDDYTV, David Haysom, decided to do a life change and head to the great city of Vancouver to raise a family and pursue his TV and film career. He was an incredible part of FUDDYTV and we've missed him, but wish him the absolute best.

Now, the journey continues. While we've had the most incredible success you can imagine, we feel like we're still in the train station ready for our next ride to who knows where. All we know is it'll be a good one.

Ryan Northcott has been acting since he was a young boy in theatre, TV and film. He's acted along side Russell Crowe and Burt Reynolds in "Mystery, Alaska", had the pleasure of playing "Carl Wilson" in the Emmy nominated mini-series "The Beach Boys: An American Family" and is now known as befuddled fictional news reporter "Chuck Storm".

Born and raised in Calgary, he moved to L.A. when he was 18 years old to pursue TV and film where he made a living...and wasn't a waiter. Now back in Calgary, the focus is FUDDYTV and the incredible things they've experienced in such a short time. It is the creative that inspires him, not the mundane and ordinary. His interests include writing lists of interests. Oh, and perhaps hockey, music, coffee, the odd ale and hanging out with cool and interesting people.

Erik Eldman was born the oldest of two boys in a small lake-side town in British Columbia in 1978. When his parents bought him a video camera for Christmas, the then twelve-year-old Erik instantly grabbed the thing to start recording his own movies, which he made with his friends and brother. They were usually short, comedic and made with no money. A few years later he took on action/adventure with a series of Indiana Jones inspired shorts called "Ray Jackson". His first step towards the more serious filmmaking came with an entry in a provincial film shorts contest. For this film, he used English dubbed kung-fu movies as his inspiration. Fortunately, the risky parody "Squatting Llama, Frightened Pig" won for best sound. When Erik was 22, he embarked on a movie making-adventure that would change his life. "Immortal Requiem", a fantasy short took Erik and his friends across southern Alberta shooting in some of the most beautiful locations in the province. The project solidified his belief in the magic of movies. Over the next five years Erik continued to produce and direct short films and has just completed his first feature, "In Case". His new commitment has brought Erik back full circle to comedic shorts with the creation of FUDDYTV.com.
