I love this stuff. It totally gets me into the spirit and makes me feel like a kid again. I definitely forgot aobut a couple of these and I'm gonna see what I can do to find Trick or Treat and It's a Great Pumpkin.

You two are insane! Scary movies are... well... scary. I'm a giant chicken though, so I'm generally the terrified one hiding behind a blanket screaming or yelling things at the screen. Kudos to you two for being brave enough to watch anything with the word "horror" in the genre. Eeek!

I like those too, Jack Nicholson is wicked good.. But the last one I saw that kinda scared me was Dead Silence, I swear I kept thinking that Mary Shaw was going to suddenly appear everytime if I didn't turn on the lights all over the house..
  • I just watched "30 Days of Night" and I have to admit it was an extremely scary, good movie! I had seen the trailers and thought yeah okay that would be okay, but it was far better than expected.

My other favorite scary movie is "The Shining". Nothing gruesome, nothing extreme, but it plays with your mind and the atmosphere in that movie is very good.

Alright, first one watched!.. Loving how atmospheric it is, the sounds, narrative, the drawings.. I likes it :) .. You know, its funny to see how much Disney's cartoons have changed..

When I was a kid the one I watched the most, and I mean every single day was a tape that had Steamboat Willie among other Disney ones, can't remember the name of it. I don't remember any scary or halloween movies I liked, but I know that The Evil Dead freaked me out a lot and those movies with evil dolls..

So what is your favorite scary-horror-halloweeneske movie these days then?
  • Oh my Ada, the first three are the best. In terms of the classics, those are equally as good and I love Halloween Trashy Night!

I went back to my childhood for many of these, I could literally watch "The Legend of Sleepy Hollow" over and over again.
  • Ada
Oooh I don't think I've seen the first 3, so thanks for the tip Ryan :)

Don't forget the classics.. Halloween, Nightmare on Elm Street, Friday the 13th..

Btw Halloween is my favorite as well, perfect for excesive consumption of the candy (CHOCOLATES!!) and scary movie marathons.. Aaah a trashy horror movie night ^^

  • Ummmm…

"Ahhh! Woooh! What's happening? Who am I? Why am I here? What's my purpose in life? What do I mean by who am I? Okay okay, calm down calm down get a grip now. Ooh, this is an interesting sensation. What is it? Its a sort of tingling in my... well I suppose I better start finding names for things. Lets call it a... tail! Yeah! Tail! And hey, what's this roaring sound, whooshing past what I'm suddenly gonna call my head? Wind! Is that a good name? It'll do. Yeah, this is really exciting. I'm dizzy with anticipation! Or is it the wind? There's an awful lot of that now isn't it? And what's this thing coming toward me very fast? So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like 'Ow', 'Ownge', 'Round', 'Ground'! That's it! Ground! Ha! I wonder if it'll be friends with me? Hello Ground!"
