So what’s up for 2009?
Well, we don’t know yet, but hopefully something. In terms of [...]

Am I The Only One?

Am I The Only One?

Call me crazy, call me insane, call me loopy, but am I the only one who sees this “global economic disaster” as something of a “mass hysteria” type thing? Dogs and cats, living together…mass hysteria! Perhaps our news cycle is pretty weak, where the likes of CNN and MSNBC have done nothing but [...]

New YouTube Widescreen Settings

Posted by Ryan Northcott in Techy Stuff, YouTube on 11. Dec, 2008 | 0 Comments

Recently YouTube changed it video size to a whopping 640×285, which is cool because it allows for users to have a richer experience watching videos.
With the change however, export settings should change on the publisher side. We some experimentation and found a really nice setting output that we seem to like. Check out [...]

Aaannnnnddd My Princess Leia Dreams are Gone

There once was a time every Star Wars fanboy fancied Princess Leia. The Today Show has destroyed all those dreams…the cinnanamon buns will never be what they were.

My goodness. Dashed I tell you, dashed.

The Death of the Newspaper

The Death of the Newspaper

Posted by Ryan Northcott in Death of Print on 08. Dec, 2008 | 1 Comment

The newspaper, as we know it, is dying. With major publications like the New York Times, L.A. Times and Chicago Tribune experiencing readership issues, the slow painful death of print media is upon us.
A few days ago, the Tribune Company, owners of the L.A. Times and Chicago Tribune filed for bankruptcy protection with $12 [...]

Everyone Facebooks the Person They Just Met

Let’s face it, you do it too. Remember the old days when you’d rush to the white pages and see if their number was listed and just prayed to sweet Jesus that their last name wasn’t Smith?
Times have most certainly changed, first with the advent of MySpace, and now with everyone and [...]

The Week Fuddy Got Bigger

Posted by Ryan Northcott in Announcements, Christmas, FuddyTV on 05. Dec, 2008 | 0 Comments

Well, video size anyway…
We’ve changed our layout just slightly to accomodate a larger video player which is now live. The videos are now 640×480, instead of our regular 486x 360, that means more Fuddy and a bigger chance for all of our imperfections to be crystal clear! Yay!
We also pretty much completed our [...]

"Ahhh! Woooh! What's happening? Who am I? Why am I here? What's my purpose in life? What do I mean by who am I? Okay okay, calm down calm down get a grip now. Ooh, this is an interesting sensation. What is it? Its a sort of tingling in my... well I suppose I better start finding names for things. Lets call it a... tail! Yeah! Tail! And hey, what's this roaring sound, whooshing past what I'm suddenly gonna call my head? Wind! Is that a good name? It'll do. Yeah, this is really exciting. I'm dizzy with anticipation! Or is it the wind? There's an awful lot of that now isn't it? And what's this thing coming toward me very fast? So big and flat and round, it needs a big wide sounding name like 'Ow', 'Ownge', 'Round', 'Ground'! That's it! Ground! Ha! I wonder if it'll be friends with me? Hello Ground!"
