PETA Compares Bus Killing to Animal Slaughter.

Do you like this story?
PETA, no not the flavorful bread, is using the brutal attack and murder of Tim McLean on a Greyhound Bus by the hands of Vince Weiguang Li to shed light on how animals feel when they are slaughtered.

I am certainly one who thinks animals need to be treated fairly when they are being killed for our own consumption, but comparing these two – animal slaughter and the Tim McLean murder – is tasteless, immoral and exactly the reason PETA alienates themselves from the mainstream. Just think how much more effective they would be if they could just do things RIGHT instead of constant publicity stunts aimed at getting (often bad) attention. This is why they are considered radicals.
The Bus Killing shook us all a little bit, simply because this is not something that happens in Canada. If this happened in a far off land across seas, perhaps it wouldn’t be so shocking, but in our own little humpty-dumpty country, this isn’t something we could fathom.
I give big thumbs down to PETA on this one. They are exploiting this terrible tragedy, a tragedy that has devastated a family.
There are better ways to get your message out there PETA…you’re just making yourself look bad.

@bunker
This is true! If they could only do thing logically and not radically they would have a much bigger following. Count me in.

sigh, well style and flair have never been PETA’s strongest point.
How to use tragic events to twist it into something that suits your agenda. Its exactly this stuff that makes people sick of them.
Are they somehow connected to the pentagon?? lol
